Best time to hit the track...
So what are the optimal conditions for going to the track to lay down your best time? Cool air temps and low elevation?

Re: Best time to hit the track...
I typically run my best times when the air is as cool as it can get without affecting traction too much. At some point of diminishing return any extra power is lost to wheelspin. But I have run my best 60 foot times in as low as 40 degree weather. Depends a lot on the tires. Guys with drag radials tend to go to shit below 60 degrees.
