What's your gas mileage? Be honest!
My '97 Blazer 4x4, 4.3L, gets 15 city and 17-18 highway. I drive a little agressive around town, and typically 65-70 on the highway.

Re: What's your gas mileage? Be honest!
I get roughly 320 miles on a full tank in my 2000 Blazer with 4.3. Sucks compared to the 97 S10 2.0 I used to have. But tons better than the 91 Camaro 5.0 I used to have before that!!

We get about the same
There's a good web site (I've attached the link) which has pretty reliable economy info. http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/ Al T. |

I've only figured mine once. Last year I drove from Missouri to Florida and averaged 20 mpg. I wasn't expecting that good of mpg especially with with a bunch of luggage and my gf with me. As a general rule of thumb you lose about 1 mpg for every extra 100 lbs. in your vehicle.

I think I'd be lucky if I got like 250 to a full tank, 320 sounds really good, but I do a hell of a lot of intercity driving. Has anyone here every tried this stuff called "Seafoam"? I hear it really improves idle and gas mileage.

Re: What's your gas mileage? Be honest!
Anyone ever try those Turbinator products? You know, the passive device you put behind the air filter (and between the TB) which is suppose to swirl the air around and give you better gas mileage? ...And please if you sell these things, don't reply. They claim 30% more HP and gas mileage.

I've heard stories about these things breaking apart and going into the engine.

Re: What's your gas mileage? Be honest!
My '95 "W" CPI porks out an abysmal, but par for the course 13~16 MPG City, 22 to nearly 25 on the highway depending on temperature. Those early moring, 20 degree days I usually start the truck and let it idle until the needle moves 2 tics up from a flat 100 before driving off. I like my boots warm, but the idle time eats up fuel economy.

2 door 4x4 carries 20 gallons. I figure that they shave one corner off and a bit of volume as a consequence of the slightly different body geometry for the 4 door model. |

Re: What's your gas mileage? Be honest!
20 city 26 highway (pretty good Chevy says 18/25) I lay into pretty hard sometimes but usually take it easy. The Impala is for raising Hell.
