swapping B18b in 92 hatch, what year tranny?

try to get a y21 trans from a 99-00 Si...better gear ratios than the s80 LS trans.

cool thanks.. now for my next question.. what header will fit with this motor in my car? do i need a B16 header?

all B series headers fit one another, as far as clearing the car frame, it should I can't think off the top of my head why it wouldn't. To be absolutely sure check out http://www.hybrid.honda-perf.org/

First we need to find if the orinal tranny in this car is a cable or hydro one, if it's cable you should get the tranny from a 2nd gen teg. if it's hydro then the Si transmission will do great.
