Should I buy 94 Nissan Pathfinder XE
I am considering buying a 94 Nissan Pathfinder XE for $4,500 CDN. The body is in good shape and it has 230,000 km. This vehicle is certified and emmisions tested. I took it for a test drive and noted the following:
4wd H worked well, I could not get it into low as I did not know you had to push the lever to the floor. When I was testing the 4wd and had it in neutral I noticed the truck was idiling high then low then high. This did not happen when I first started it and seemed to go away after I drove it. The dealer is also offering a 2 year 24,000 km Lubrico warranty which covers engine, seals, transmission, transfer case. Should I buy this? Any comments as to the relibility and price of this vehicle would be appreciated. Is it reasonable to expect 300,000 km from this vehicle? Thanks for any advice anyone has to offer? |
