94 LeSabre heater control
I have a 1994 LeSabre and the heater control will not switch out of "Heat" mode. Also, it appears that the rear defroster does not work. Is this just a faulty heater control panel or could there be something else causing this?
Thanks a lot, Todd |

Ya, I have a 95 lesabre and the component that swithes from heat to air does not work. To replace it would cost a lot so for now I just have it stationed at "heat". It is found behind the glove compartment and is easy to switch over to air, when the need arises.

My rear defrost doesnt work either, apparently it just needs a fuse replaced, but I cant find where the fuse would be!

I have a 93 Lesabre and there's a fuse panel under the dash on the passenger side [behind the plastic cowling under the dash...stupid place for fuses! ]. You might want to try there...I think they mention it in the owner's manual, but I'm not sure. You may also have a hairline crack in the supply line to the rear defrost [actually on the window itself, even if there's no crack in your glass...] These are supposed to be easy to repair, but I've never had to do one... ![]() Good luck! |
