Got my Halo Headlights in!!
Well I ordered them about a month or so ago and had them in for a while, but now i finally got time to acutally hook up the HALO eyes, because I ran them on a switch into the car. Since they are known to blow out quickly i put in the switch so I wont have them on all the time when I have my normal headlights on. They looks really nice and I will probably post some pics later tonight or tomorrow when its dark so u can see them.

Re: Got my Halo Headlights in!!
From what I have gathered... the halo lights burn out do to poor wiring design. The wires run right under the projector housings. The projector housings usuall melt the wires causing them to short out.

Ricochet - Um ok???
and to SilverBolt - Yea I heard that too, but the angel eyes arent the main thing I care about its just a plus, so if they DO burn out I really dont mind because I really like the look of these projector Headlights, thats the real reason why I bought them. But for running these for a month and I deliver pizza so I have my lights on all the time, the wires never melted, i think its because for these lights they used something else to cover the wire instead of the usual, its something that isnt...meltable. I guess I got some good ones. |

Re: Got my Halo Headlights in!!
Yeah... same here. I didnt buy them for he halo's... they were just a plus. I liked them for the looks, and I wanted for their projectors so I can install HIDs in them... which I must say look VERY nice! I'm so glad I finally did it!

Re: Got my Halo Headlights in!!
Yeah, I've been lazy to go take pictures and post a thread about it... plus I've been busy with the hollidays. I'll see if I have time to put it up this weekend. I actually went with a pair that I wasnt even looking into. I went with a company called Xetronic ( www.hidexpress.com ). The reason I went with their 6000k kit was because the wholesale shop I deal with carries them and they said it was good. Since I was able to get it at wholesale, it made it alot more considerable. Also, they come with a 1 year warrenty... but through cheating the system, I have a lifetime warrenty. If anything ever happens to them, I can just have the wholesale shop write me up a fake receipt or something and have it all covered! They're very bright, and comparable to BMW's HIDs, which seem to have the most blueish tint of the stock HIDs.

I just put mine in tonight . . where do i run the wires to for the halo's? I have all the other lights connected, just dont know how to run the wires to get the halos to work. that switch idea sounds good. If you could give me a quick idea of how you wired it, i would really appreciate it.
-ed btw. . . i need to wire a set of m3 mirrors with the turn signals on them as well .. if anyone can help me with that too . . . thanks |

Re: Got my Halo Headlights in!!
Halos = the wire to your turn signal that doesnt flash.
M3's = the wire to your turn signal that does flash. oh ya. if a thread is more than a month old... its usually considered "dead" please dont post in them.... do a search. |

Re: Got my Halo Headlights in!!
If you want to run a switch like i did I can explain it best I can, because it might be a little confusing. Heres what I did (your gonna need extra wire of course.)
1. Ran the two halos from one side to the other two halos and connected the wires together according to color of course. 2. Took the negative wires and spliced into it and connected it to chassis then continued from there and ran the negative to the switch. 3. I ran the positive wires to the switch then. 4. Then the power wire from the switch I ran to the battery or you can run it to the fuse box. It might sound confusing as hell but if you look at it your self it should be really easy, because it is. |

Check that out it has a picuture on what you need to do. The switch has 3 parts to it because on my switch when I turn it on it glows to let me know its on. |

Re: Got my Halo Headlights in!!
great, thanks. . i installed the lights, just trying to figure out how to get them to look right. the right head light is facing the ground, and the left is shooting too high. been googling but can't find how to align them.

If you really can't find them I can try and find a picture, but they are pretty easy to spot.
