audi 97 a4 12v to 97 2.7t frm a6

does any one know it the a6 2.7 t will fit in a 97 a4 quattro ,and if so where can i buy used turbo audi motors that will deliver to a residence?

i think you should have looked that up a little bit more...because im nearly 100% positive that the 2.7T engine didnt come out until 2000...but i guess the answer is no either way...there is no way you can swap a 97 2.7T from a A6 into a 97 2.8 A4...mainly cause it doesnt exist...then if you want to ask then if a 2000 2.7T can fit into the 97 A4 just consult pervious threads on the same topic

..save your pennies and buy an s4... it'll be cheaper

Actually they did make the 2.7T motors before 2000 because I am buying a 97 so I'd do a little research first before bad mouthing another person with a legit. question.

ok i dont know what youre talking about...because even if you are buying a 97 A4 that has nothing to do with the 2.7T...unless youre talking about the 1.8T which is quite a bit different...i dont really know why this post was even revisited or why you felt so strongly to register and then reply to this post as your first post...but anyway you slice it youre wrong...the 2.7T came out in 2000 in the A6 and the S4...the 1.8T came out in 97 in the A4...so i suppose that YOU should do a little research first before you come on to a forum for the first time and try to put someone in their place with false claims

yea i am positive the 2.7 biturbo came out at 2000. Also I think its cheaper if you but the engine i got my car for 5000 and then i was looking around for the 2.7t and i found it with a tranny and engine 35k miles on it for another 2500 and thats with the whole fornt end but just for a engine i think it would be arount 1900
