Got into an accident over the weekend-Pics of damage.

http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4291983955

This is what happens when some a$$hole cuts you off and hits his brakes to turn left and you fail to look at your blindspot while switching lanes to avoid hitting the dumba$$ in front of you.

The first estimate is $3378.00.

Hey, I'm really sorry about that. I know how you feel though...I got into my 1st accident last month (I got sandwiched with front and rear damage ), and got my car out of the shop a few weeks ago. It really sucks. Just think though, when she comes out of the shop she'll be better than new.

BTW, what did you hit?

Thanks guys. Yeah I am already working with a friends bodyshop. Even though my insurance will fix it my rates are going to shoot up. The guy I hit was in a plymouth minivan the only damage to his car was his front driverside fender and a little of his door.

I am thinking of getting the TBC body kit that is on www.wholesalehyperformance.com I think VIS or Veilside makes it I am not sure though.

98CivicEx is right.....if your going to do any body work now is the time.....the paint and the shop are there. Might as well just do what you want to do to the car and get custom wit it.

im surprised that your wheels didn't receive some damage. there seems to be body damage surrounding them but no wheel damage.... got lucky...hehe. atleast you know there shouldn't be any suspension damage or anything

I have no money to do any kind of custom work. I have whatever the insurance company is going to give me which I have no idea what it is since an adjuster hasn't come to take a look at it. The only thing I have going for me right now is that my sisters boyfriend knows the owner of the body shop and is going to work me out a deal. I am waiting to see if the adjuster will say that the whole car needs to be painted because then I might just change the color to something that wasn't available stock. I will let you all know more as soon as I meet with the adjuster.

I understand what you are saying....but hoepfully maybe he can help you out and then you can get the money from him to buy the parts (ie bodykit) and have him install it.

if i'm not mistaken....the insurance gives you the money right?? So hes right honda will definately give u a ridiculous estimate. Take the money and do what you have to do to the car.

Sorry about your accident mang..
You should take the insurance money, sell your rims, and use all that $$ to get a gsr swap...leave the body how it its, throw on your stock steelies...that would be one HELL of a sleeper:hehehe:
