touch up or no?
I own a 2000 sebring convertible, and I am just starting to think about selling it. It is an awesome car, but it does not have enough room in it, for toting my bikes and friends around. As I am considering trying to get the most money out of my sale, my question is this. Because the front of the car is so low, many times have I scraped it driving over some sort of uneven terrain(speed bump or slanted driveway) and there is a considerable amount of scraping damage on the bottom. It is not very visible looking straight on, but it is very apparent if one is inspecting it when interested in purchasing it. Not as though I would keep this damage from the potential buyee. So is it worth having a mechanic or body shop touch it up, or repaint it, or possibly even replace it? Or is it completely unbenefitial to do so? What would the cost be?

Re: touch up or no?
don't bother - if the components are not damaged, then don't worry about it, i bottom out my civic sometimes and it scrapes like mad, but never damages anything
