K&N filter or original?

I just bought a Primera 2.0 SRI and now I want to replace my original
filter with a K&N filter or something like that.
Is that gonna do me much good, I mean with hp and sound?

This is the first time I use the forum and I'm from Holland so shit if the words arren't pronounced right.

K&N has proven time and time again to increase HP in all cars. Evey car is different. I believe our cars receive approx. 3-5HP with just a drop in. If not more.
