Re: Prelude faster takeoff
How much money do you have? The obvious answer is a LSD but I believe that's about $1000 to have done.

Re: Prelude faster takeoff
unless u are talking about street racing...which I wouldn't recommend drag radials...so I would say...clutch, lsd (you could find an lsd for 700 or less but then u have a pretty expensive install). Weight reduction...better tires...

Re: Prelude faster takeoff
clutch wont make any power but it will put more to the ground.

Re: Prelude faster takeoff
Lightweight flywheel - under $500. Lightweight pulleys - also under $500. Revs will climb faster - helps with takeoff once your tires hook up.

Re: Prelude faster takeoff
LSD is a Limited Slip Differential. It helps put power to both wheels rather than just one...I'm not sure of the mechanics of it, hopefully someone can fill in on that. And yes, they do make them for the h22...I'm sure some sites should have them, but I know the JDM tranny comes with it.
