Post Prelude faster takeoff

I have a 94 Honda Prelude Vtec with a cold air intake, headers, and cat-back I am looking to get a mod to give me a better takeoff when racing. any ideas will help thanx.

How much money do you have? The obvious answer is a LSD but I believe that's about $1000 to have done.

unless u are talking about street racing...which I wouldn't recommend drag radials...so I would say...clutch, lsd (you could find an lsd for 700 or less but then u have a pretty expensive install). Weight reduction...better tires...

clutch wont make any power but it will put more to the ground.

DUDE..IT WOULD COST YOU A LOT OF MONEY FOR MOD TO GET A BETTER TAKE OFF.. $700 IS NOT ENOUGH..

Lightweight flywheel - under $500. Lightweight pulleys - also under $500. Revs will climb faster - helps with takeoff once your tires hook up.

hey, guys I had a question what's an LSD? I think it's a tranny...if so...I heard of these on b16's and b18's on civics and teggy's but never on h22's or any Lude's...can you guys please explain to me...what's an LSD thankx guyzz..and is there a direct fit for an h22?

LSD is a Limited Slip Differential. It helps put power to both wheels rather than just one...I'm not sure of the mechanics of it, hopefully someone can fill in on that. And yes, they do make them for the h22...I'm sure some sites should have them, but I know the JDM tranny comes with it.
