tranfer case-Bronco II
Im am changing the clutch on my 1990 Ford Bronco II. I have all the bolts removed on the transfer case but it will not budge. I was wondering if anyone had any pointers for me on what to do. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

You probably have grime in the spacers. (I don't know the technical name, but they're the metal protrusions from the Tranny that hold the Transfer Case in place before you bolt them together.) I know mine didn't give up the ghost too readily when I pulled my AOD unit apart. You will have to convince the two units apart.
Air? Soft Rocking motion left-to-right? Solvent? Mindless violence? One of them should work. Get 'er done! |
