It's a secret... but worth looking

D1 GP...

ON PS2

There is an ad for it in Option 128 - Not sure if it is coming out in USA, europe, or australia.

Looks very arcadey but graphics are ok features the heads of Orido, Tsuchiya and Suzuki getting progressively more excited the bigger you drift. Also contains Irwindale speedway.

Are you excited yet?

Since I'm whinging about the bastardisation of lots of stuff i thought I might just say

The Pontiac GTO is made in AUSTRALIA!

(It is most certainly NOT a drift car, it is a cardinal sin in Oz to say that a holden is a drift car or to enter one in a drift event. Then to see that mis-guided millen boy enter one in D1... ARRRRRRRRGH!!!!!!)

That is not a local car you see when you drive past the pontiac dealer it is a HOLDEN MONARO.

GM USA made Holden change the bonnet and put on those scoops so now the monaro has them too and looks really wierd.

I don't actually like the Monaro, I don't like Holden, in fact.. I don't like GM. But there was nothing wrong with it to start off with. SO why BASTARDISE IT!?!?!?!?

(We get bigger wheels than you and thats what makes your GTO look wierd, not any lack of scoops.)

Please ignore this post - just my little whinge - the thread is about the above post.

damn...o well. It seemed like the physics of the game didnt look to realistic. sems like all you do is push the gas pedal, and control from there, and there u gotta drift

You could be wrong about the gt4 part. Either way, if they cancelled it you still can drift whilest practicing when yr in yr garage (at least in 3).
that's the great thing about gt. All those things you can change in yr setup. You really can make a drift car in that game.

Let's hope for gt4 but i think they did it cause in Prologue they mentioned something about the 350z: " It makes it one of the best drifting cars out there".

cross yr fingers gentlemen!

i've seen pictures of gt4, and they have the blits skyline and the hks s15 and some other d1 cars, and if they have those i think they probably have the drift mode
