No not really . Just like any other RWD/4x4 truck. Get the exhaust & crossmembers out of the way, drop the driveshaft(s), etc.... BTW, you have a SOHC 3.2L in your 95.5. DOHC's in the rodeo didn't come out until 1998.
G/luck

If you are driving a stock 1995.5 rodeo 3.2L (any pre 1998 3.2 rodeo), you have one cam on top of each cylinder head. This is a single over-head cam engine (SOHC).

You may be right, in which case, that's not the original engine in that truck. I currently own a 97 Rodeo 3.2L SOHC engine and have in the past also had a 91 3.1L V6 as well. I can tell you that the DOHC's did NOT come out til the 98+ model years - whom ever had this truck before you replaced the original engine.

The 91-92's have a GM 3.1L 140HP, 93-95.5's have the SOHC 3.2L Isuzu engine with 175HP, I believe, and the 96-97's have the 3.2L SOHC Isuzu engine as well, with 190HP.

The 98+'s all have either the 3.2L DOHC engine with 205HP; and some now are built with the 3.5L engine.

Take a look at the VIN number on that DOHC engine, bet apples to grapes that it doesn't match the label on the doorjam. I hope for the sake of honesty, that someone didn't lie to you when they sold you that truck, telling you that it was the OEM engine.

So there is no reason to yank your engine then right?
