PIAA Super Plasmas

Today I tried putting PIAA super plasmas on my 97 honda civic because one of my crappy aftermarket ones burned out and I decided to be smart and upgrade, so anyway after installing them the low beams do not work. The high beams do work. I checked the 30a fuse under the hood and the two low beam fuses inside the car and I replaced all of them, so anyway I want to go drive around but I don't want to blind everyone in my path, so if anyone has any ideas as to why my high beams are working unlike the low beams I would rather fix my super plasmas than buy anything else.

Re: PIAA Super Plasmas

i know with alot of bulbs u cannot touch the glass at all when u put them in. I THINK it has something to do with the dirt heating up and causing the bulb to blow. Maybe its different with a good company like PIAA..but that would be my guess

Re: PIAA Super Plasmas

The low beams immediately didn't work so they wouldn't have really had a chance to heat up even if there was dirt on the glass. The glass on the bulbs weren't touched after purchase.

Re: Re: PIAA Super Plasmas

i think it actually makes the bulbs burst, not just blow. its the oils and dirt from your fingers.... not too sure tho. but i dont know its highly unlikely that it will just kill the low beams.
