1991 ford escort LX 1.9
any help with a no start for 91 escort 1.9 LX replaced cutoff switch relay
and today ran through the wiring and low and behold the ignition switch was toasted there were 2 wires toasted so i went out and got a new ign switch still will not start getting fuel to the rail and ejecters are getting power when i go to crank it over light comes on check fuel out put i can even hear the pump humming when i turn it on also when i crank the engine over i can hear a relay clicking off on on down by the control module any suggestions on this or a bad sensor or another bad relay thank you |

this may sound dumb, but it is sometimes the simple things that cause us trouble. When you replaced the inertia switch did you remember to push the button to reset it? If it is in the raised position then that's yer problem... if all else fails, attach a vacuum sourse to the fuel system to draw fuel up through the lines beyond the filter. From there the elctric pump can push it through the rail.
