i have a hf 90 crx i blew up the old engine and put in a d15b2 in it because it was free i kept my old fuel injection instead of the throttle body/carberation that was on the new engine originally. im haveing idle problems and starting problems. my tac is all over the place but it runs strong if its over 3000rpm if anyone can help it would be very appreciated

probley not but i was pretty sure the timming was good other than that i did oil plugs distributor etc.

one more thing
i keep the stock pfi for the 8 valve and put it on the 16 valve instead of the throttlebody/carberation that was originally on the 16 valve will this cause any issues with my new engine and or the the old computer

Nah, I did the same thing with my HF. It should be MPFI. I'd check your timing again, also if there was a different distributor on the new motor that might be going haywire also. You mentioned the tach being all over the place, that usually means something is wrong with the distributor.
Also, get a different ecu. We had a problem with mine for the longest time. Get yourself a pm6. |

hey i appreciate your reply this is the first engine ive put in this damn thing and it seems to be onething after the other.........can i drive it at all with the pfi on it (this is my daily driver)and also should i get the pm6 comp for the pfi or the mpfi
