hrmm....

so if i get alot of traction, something sounds like its hitting the tranny tunnel, has anyone experianced this hitting noise say maybe the driveshaft is hitting the tourque arm..any ideas, it sounds like a hammer is hitting under there haha its awful.. i got th350 tranny btw

Re: hrmm....

torque arm hitting the tunnel. crawl underneath and see what kindof condition the tranny mount and torque arm bushings are in. shouldnt be your driveshaft.

thats pretty strange. the only advice i can give you for sure is get under and see if anything is loose. if the exhaust is run down the tunnel like a fourth gen check that two. my car did that at first when i put the cat-back on. it can only be on of a couple things.

definatly a mount somewhere in the suspension has given out. Id say its the torque arm mount on the transmission tailshaft. its quite common.

mine was doing that too. it was the bushings, they had dry rotted and fallen out.
