alternator can cause.....?
i just finished installing my new alternator, i want to know if i am exaggerating but my car idles smoother & my exhaust seems a little quieter than usual. I dunno i could just be crazy
but if anyone knows if this can happen please post

Well, if ur alternator was messed up bad enough. The new one could be getting you more voltage for spark and producing a better running engine and less drag. So it could make it feel better.

If the alternator was really skrewed before, the new one will deff be giving a better and more constant supply of voltage to the ignitian system. especially at idle. Probbably fireing better with a stronger spark. Or its just placebo.
