LS tranny mileage
I found this guy locally that has a couple of 91-93 tegs, I am searching for a tranny, rear mount, obd-0 ecu, and axles/halfshaft. The guy said he would pull everything and a friend who works at a local speedshop here recommend the guy very highly. My question is both tranny have at least 100,000 miles on them. How long will this tranny hold up and is this a good deal for $350?

Re: LS tranny mileage
Well there is no telling how they were treated so it would be a shot in the dark on your part. I would say drain the fluid and run some synchromesh and hope for the best. The ls tranny in my car has over 200,000 miles on it.
