Looks to be a two rotor carbed rotory. Going though all that trouble they should have converted to RWD though.

if that's a true rotary, i wouldn't call it rice. Takes a lot of work to do something like that

i think it uses a toyota tranny, but im not sure later ill get ahold of the dude that sent me the pics and see if he can get me a link to find some more info on it

that's a damn carb!!!

the guy should have took hondas adv and stoped doing carbs when honda did back in 87. nasty shit, nice car thought.

Why??? You can get some awsome power out of carbs if you know what you are doing.

Yeah, I'v seen quiet a few 4th gen pro drag cars ususing duel side draft webbers being powered into the sub 10's.

Yep thats a 12A rotary engine from a 79-84 RX7(not positive on year but the carbed rotary engines are 12A's)

Hmm thats odd a toyota tranny. Hmm mazda made FWD 12A and 13B engines in japan. Hmm cant remember what they were from.

i dont think the rotory motors where ever made fwd but thats not a usdm civic so that motor could be from a few diff mazda's any of the rx's they came in mazda trucks and the the 3rotor cosmos but thats not a 3 rotor

and the carb setup is not stock so that does not mean its a 12a and over there the 13b's came carbed as well and the 12a's also could have been turbo'd from the factory
