97 dedan door handles on a 92 sedan

does anyone know if the fit? i was looking at a 97 sedan and they seem to have the same shape....i hate the sideways ones i have now....thanks

No, I'm fairly sure they don't. If I remember correctly, the door handles on the 92-95 Civics pull sideways to open the door. The 96-00 Civics lift up to open the doors. Unless it's just the model Civic I drive. But, I could be wrong. Late...

i know the 97 ones lift up and the 92 ones go sideways but the holes in the door metal seem to be the same shape and size....so maybe they could be modded to fit....

Just out of curiousity, why do you want the other handles. I'd say it would be quite the hassle to mod them to fit. But I'm not exactly 100% on that. Then again, it may be an exact fit. Late...

no real reason...just that they look better and i hate the sideways opening ones....tthats all
