Aight guys. I got some money to spend and im thinkn about doing an engine swap for a 93 del sol s coupe with a d15b7 to a JDM b16a2 but i wanna figure out exactly what im getting into first. Anyone done this swap themselves. I hear its relatively simply but I gotta few questions. First off, the JDM engines are all right hand drive cars so what all am i gonna have to change. Ive been told throttle linkage and possibly power steering lines. Is the entire engine reversed for example is the power steering pump/ac compressor mounted on the opposite side of the engine. Secondly, the 93 S coupes werent vtec and the b16 obviously is. Im getting the b16 ecu,the vtec solenoid and the entire electrical harness from the firewall up. Im relatively certain that there were different harnesses for the vtec models and that im not gonna have the right connections. Im no genuis with electrical shit so how do i go about setting my car up for vtec. Do i splice the 2 harnesses somehow or can I replace the entire harness with the new one (site im gettn engine off says they CUTT it from the firewall up). The only other thing ive come up with that i think im gonna need is the shift linkage for the b series motors cuz the d wont match. Anything else im missing????
