Yeah that looks pretty good and really similiar to the factory hood. I've seen hoods like that run anywhere from as low as $500 up to $800. So if you really want it then I'd say go for it. You can't go wrong with a with a price like that.

right, non functional and doesn't come with hardware. Suncoast creation hoods are functional and come with all new hardware for proper opening and closing. Stock harware is too stiff for most aftermarket hoods from what im told.

It may also be that it is not as thick as the stock one or made slightly more cheaply...less layers of fiberglass perhaps.

I picked mine up on Ebay, it ran me $800, but its also functional, came with a RamAir box, shipped from FL to DE, and it's pretty fricken sturdy. I guess what I'm getting at is you get what you pay for.
