'95 Pathfinder speakers not working

My Pathfinder was parked for a few days and when I went to start it, my battery was weak and the vehicle would not start. I jump started it and drove it home (the radio and speakers worked fine). At home, I put it on a portable charger overnight to see if the battery would be OK. It charged some but not enough to turn over the motor; my neighbor tested the battery w/a portable tester and found out it was junk. I replaced the battery, connected everything up and the motor turned over and started easily. No problem....except that none of the stereo speakers work. The radio turns on and lights up but the speakers (front or rear) do not work. Any ideas? Is there a fuse separate from the radio someplace that could have blown due to the monkeying around w/ the battery? Thanks.

Try under the hood I believe on the passender side up front by windhield a black box had additional fuses. It's possible the factory amp has blown as well. Hope this helps!

Re: '95 Pathfinder speakers not working

i have a 94 Pathfinder LE and had the same problem after replacing the radio. these vehicles have factory amps that power the speakers. one amp for front speakers and one amp for rear speakers. both my amps were located behind the passenger side panel in the rear cargo area and had a fuse on the side of them which were blown, after freplacing the fuses, the speakers worked great. some pathfinders had one of these amps installed behind the radio instead of both being behind the panel in the rear of the vehicle. i hope this helps.
