Angry 86 civic 1.5 carb,surging?

ok the car idels fine but mostly in lower gears it stalles like it's not getting enougf fuel and sometimes on the freeway it cuts out and when I push down on the gas pedal it picks back up after a few seconds.I have replaced both fuel filters,airfilter,PCV,spark plugs,wires,dist.cap,roter.????

Sounds like a bad fuel pump or a bad carburetor. I'd start by checking for vaccuum leaks, then check the fuel pressure. If you can't find any problems then it's time to rebuild the carb.

yeah sounds like a bad float in the carb, or a vaccume leak

yeah,rebuilt the carb. and found 2 vacuum leaks along the way runs great now,thanks

well what about the timing and the distrubitior...is it positioned correctly!!! that could cause alot of that also!!! it did with mine and i did all the things you did too
