Re: Dare I say...finished? 2K2 Corvette

I'll get more when I can figure out how to keep the wheels from falling off. I'm contemplating 2 ton epoxy. BTW, this is with no clear or polish.

EDIT: Got some engine shots.

That front drivers wheel did not want to stay on through the photoshoot.

edit x2...and uh...I know there are no decals yet. Someday I'll get around to them.

Looks...

SOOO GOOD!

Color is gorgeous, and looks awesome even before clear and polish. I am impressed by your subtle and eye-catching engine detailing.

More! More!

Re: Dare I say...finished? 2K2 Corvette

I can't stand the exhaust. I've been messing with it for days and it will not level out. (&*^$. That is all.

This kit came with the hideous "wagon wheels" they put on Vettes in 98-99, these are the updated 2000 wheels, since this is supposed to be a 2002 anyways. They're much nicer. You can find them on the Snap-Tite version of this kit.

Now can anyone help me make a license plate for it? PLEASE??

Re: Dare I say...finished? 2K2 Corvette

the wheels could use a little black wash great job. I love the two tone interior. bummer about the exhaust....short of yanking it off and re-shaping it, there probably isn't much that you can do for it

Have you built one of these Vettes? That would entail yanking the whole thing apart! See undercarraige shot. The interior is how it is factory, kinda neat...for tan I guess

Actual interior shot

Re: Dare I say...finished? 2K2 Corvette

There are a lot of little things on this model that drive me nuts, its kinda a quickie, but I'm giving it away...which makes me want it that much more perfect
