Make car louder

I have a gibson exhaust which didnt really make my car much louder and I cut it off like 2 feet as well as I got a brute force air intake which made my xterra a little more loude but its not veyr loud at all still and I want the thing to scream and be extremely loud any tips on what I could/should do! Thanks everyone

if you really want your car to be loud, then just remove your entire exhaust system, leaving the header(s) install straight pipes. realize that you drive an Xterra, which is not designed for what you want.

ya good call i actually did that yesterday i took off the muffler and the thins is a lot louder and i need more noise so I will probably get a cherry bomb muffler which are made of plexiglas and are sick thanks!

I think some of us are just wondering what your going to get out of making your X so loud. Most guys here concentrate on mods for 4x4 applications. But hey, it's your truck. You do what makes you happy with it.

mods

I have a fair ammount of mods on my car i had the gibson exhasutr which i jsut removed becasue I didnt really notice a difference i have a brute force intake i have a super chip for it I have a calmini 3' suspension lift body lift on its way... I have a 1200 dolars sound system bumpin 4 twelves I have front a and rear wheel spacers I have diffferent front racing seats and I have 31 inch BFG all terrain I have my fair ammount of mods too im jsut enjoy the loudness
