yes it will matter big time. I am looking to put 17's on my lancer and they say at stock height i wont be able to make a U turn without my tires rubbing.

Re: droping

What kind of springs/coilovers are you gonna use to "drop" your car?

Re: droping

i was thinking tein? i am actually leaning towards just getting 17's. though you can't go to much wider then 205 with 17's nor can you get 35's.

Re: droping

i lowered my 98 lancer 2" with 17" wheels, and it rarely scrubs, only occasionally whilst 'u' turning. it is common to drop them 3" for 16", 2 for 17" and 1" for 18" wheels. i would imagine you would deffinately have to roll your guards for 18s though...

Re: droping

Teins would be awsome. They work very well.

Re: droping

i really don't care if the tires rub if you do a u turn , just means when you do a u turn you can't turn your wheels all the way, you'll just have to do a k turn.

Re: droping

if you drop it you should get stiffer springs anyway. you wont have to much trouble, if you do you probably shouldnt be going those speeds over those bumps anyway ... good luck...

Re: droping

Well if thats the problem I suggest that you change your wheels for smaller ones.
