Car will not stop.
I got this old Radioshack RC car, 1998 or so. And everytime I fully charge the battery, Ni-CD 7.2 Volts, and then plug it to my car, the back wheels start spinning and wont stop. The car and the remote both have an on swith, both are off and it wont matter. Sterring works fine, but just everytime i plug in the rechargable big batter the car goes hay-wire. And every like 15 seconds or so, the car sputters. I did it today and the wires got like super hot. Anyone have any idea what it could be? I took the car apart and it seems fine. Bad battery possibly?

Re: Car will not stop.
Sounds like its officially crapped out. Im surprised it lasted as long as it did. Its a speed control problem, and theres no point in replacing it in a Radio Shack RC.
