88 CRX sunroof question
Mine use to work then one day one side didn't want to lift up anymore. I'm wondering if I should just plug it with a carbon fiber one and get a new head liner. Or see about finding a piece of glass to put in there to plug it. I like the glass idea, but haven't found any replacement glass panels on the net. I don't know how much it'd run to have a company to cut me a piece to fit either. What have some of you other guys done with your sunroofs?

Re: 88 CRX sunroof question
What's wrong with the glass? Broke when twisted? The junkyard is your best bet for a replacement. You're gonna have to tear everything apart to get at glass anyway so see if you can fix it. Just make sure the junkyard has a return policy if you go with the carbon fiber replacement.

Re: 88 CRX sunroof question
They never came with glass AFAIK. They say that they use to make a replacement glass panel for the steel one. But I haven't found one on the net yet.

Opps, I've got Civic Si on the brain.
Just weld the sucker shut and your all set. |
