shaking steering wheel

Hi im going on the highway at 70 MPH and above and now my wheel is shaking, not too much. so far the only service i done is painting the calipers, change my pads, and thats about it. im sure its not the brake componts problem, have anyone had this situtation before... any help would be great

It could be that you have a wheel out-of-balance

Shake up and down? General vibration? Check pressure, rotate and balance, check tires for shifted belt, out of round, etc. Probably just out of balance

Rotational shake (shimmy) can also be caused by above, but is often alignment, suspension component problem.

Yea the first thing (as everybody has mentioned) is to check your tires. Out of balance tires usually aren't to noticable until you reach higher speeds.

thanks for the help, i did an wheel alignment now and some of it is gone. maybe new tires?
