pr4 or pm6

hi i was just wondering if with a b18 if it would make a difference with the 2 different ecus. at first i had the teg ecu in but now i put in the old si ecu since it bolts right up. i just want to know if i can still get the same performance. and once get my turbo will i still be able to stick with an si ecu with out making performance suffer alot.
thanks

Re: pr4 or pm6

you can use either ecu and it will run safely. As for the PR4, it will run your motor slightly better as it has fuel maps for the 1.8.
I don't suggest running either ecu with a turbo. You're gonna be running extremely and dangerously lean if you turbo and retain your stock tuning. You could use either and just use an safc or chip it.
But overall, I would recommend the PR4.

pm6 would make it run lean, pr4 runs ideal. since the pr4 is made for the b18. u can get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, larger injectors and get ur ECU chipped with proper maps if u go turbo. would prolly be the best way and run an air/fuel gauge too

Re: pr4 or pm6

PR4 pulls harder, Ive had both.

When I first bought the car it came with a PM6 went to the junkyard got a PR4 and it pulls and performs much better.

Re: pr4 or pm6

I didnt at first either.

I felt the difference up top, down low seemed to be pretty even until a certain point.
