Rex concept kit and hood!

this is a kit and hood I just finished. sorry about the grainy texture (cheap scanner) and lack of a rear view still working on it. please comment and crits are very welcome. I know it's not perfectly straight but I was kinda in a hurry.[IMG][/IMG]
I'll try to get the rear view finished as soon as I can.

WOW!! I love it. I'd buy it.
No really, a crx is my "first car" dream. It's small and looks good.

I love the Y-Rims. And the white reflections. I'd just shade the windows darker.

Great work.

Re: Rex concept kit and hood!

I was thinking about doing a widebody version of this kit. only problem is the company doesn't want to make a kit that includes doorskins so it's making things dificult on this particular car.

The drawing is awesome! You rendered those wheels yourself! They look amazing! Extravagant body kits aren't my style The front is a bit uneven. Other than that its all great!!

Re: Rex concept kit and hood!

I thought I actually kept the bodykit fairly mild. you guys seem to really like the wheels I usually screw them up but this time I used a grid. it seems to have payed off.

Awesomely rendered wheels!! Not a big fan of the kit design, although the hood is very cool

Re: Rex concept kit and hood!

yeah I wasn't really too happy with the kit. so ill probably just push the hood to production. or change the lip design of the kit. maybe something more shaply and smoother. I'll see what I can do in photoshop instead of drawing another car.

looks good..you know you can go to that other site where your picture is and right button click on it, then click properties and copy the path.

Then paste the path between image tags in your post here like so:

[img]pathtoyourpicturehere[/img]

Your picture will display on this board while residing at the other. Just makes it easier to deal with.

Wheels look good. I even lke the grainy texture. Have you ever used coquille paper?

I can't say that I like the kit (it reminds me of those ugly black widow kits... , but I really like the drawing.
