Florida references - LOOK!!!

I know I bitch and moan about living in Florida all the time... The heat, the snowbirds, the damn tourists, the humidity, blah blah blah...
Today, however, I was reminded of one BIG plus to living here - the cars!
I dropped off my Jetta at my favorite bodyshop and here is what was sitting in front!

The owner, a doctor who invented a new heart valve, backed his DAILY DRIVER Lambo into a post! The bumper is $18K and shipping for it was $2K from Spain!!! I pulled out the camera and started snapping!

Turns out, the doctor got so much money for his invention he opened an exotic car business for the tax write-offs! He has quite a collection and my friend who owns the bodyshop is putting me in touch with him. I hear he also has a Ferrari 250 GTO!!!!

On the way home I stopped by a classic/exotic dealership that I hadn't visited in a while. He had a Jag XJ220, A-M DB7 Vantage roadster, '67 L88 Corvette, 3 Jag D-types, Ferraris, etc etc... While walking about the showroom I struck up a conversation with a middle aged gent eye-balling a MB 230SL. Turns out he has quite a collection as well and he inviteed me to come to his warehouse sometime! The main attraction would have to be his 3 AC 427 Cobras!!!!
If you guys need reference photos I can apparently get access to most any car you can imagine... Let me know what you need!
I'll post the Cobras ASAP!!!!

Yes, just south of Tampa Bay. There are alot of warehouses full of exotics around here, but the largest and most notable is probably Al Wiseman's collection. He has a private collection and a dealership you can visit and purchase from. That is where I bought my '69 Z28 3 years ago!

The huge dealership is in downtown Tarpon Springs, definitely worth the trip! The private collection isn't available for public viewing.
I'm in north Sarasota, we are in the middle of a serious modelling talent triangle!!

One of the local yokels here has a Silver Mclaren F1, a red Enzo, and a maroon Murcielago. I have pictures of all three and can easily get more, I'm pretty good friends with the mechanic, if anyone needs Enzo pics.

There's a guy in the next town over with at least 30 54-72 Corvettes, mostly big blocks and/or convertibles, including a '69 L88 Corvette. He also has a Linginfelter ZR1 Corvette, a Henessy Viper, a Countach, and an AC Cobra 427 replica.

There's a twin turbo Testarossa running around. There are more 69 Camaros than you can shake a stick at, including an ultra rare Z10 pacecar coupe. There's an AMG SL55 Mercedes. There's an SRT10 truck, Lightnings of all years, Challengers, Cudas, Dodge Dayonas/Superbirds, old roadsters, Mustangs, Vipers, Corvettes and Camaros everywhere, and everyone is so friendly you can get all the pictures you want.

There's a 2002 Berger ZL1 Camaro. There's a Yenko collection (not just Camaros). There are Supras, RX7s of all generations, 3000 GTs, 300 ZX (friend has a white turbo one)

That is why I love Texas
