Coilovers
I have to get new struts or a coilover kit on my 95 GSR. I'm considering the Tein Basic's, which run about $750; i.e. cheap, but still one step up from a strut replacement. Questions:
Are coilovers worth the extra cash?why? Can I replace them myself, or should I have a shop do it? What would u recommend? Is the Tein Basics good? Thanks |

Re: Coilovers
tein basics are excellant, if u NEED coilovers, if your going for a basic drop, get lowering springs and shocks.. like Koni... Coilovers are perfect if you are going to be lowering and raising your car for different driving conditions.

Also you can corner weigh your car so the car is 50/50 cross weight which makes the car handle much better.
