COMPLETED: Datsun 510 Turbo Weekend Racer

Finally finished my long lasting 510 project and first this year. Decided to post it here because it is totally street legal expect for the plates.
Pics are taken on 00.00 am inside

I added like M3 style mirros (or lookalike). Rims are stock, but widened and detailed. Front end looks like its falling, because of that big intercooler.
Front bumper is on its place, cause front end was too naked.

Huge fartcan also added.
I left that rear bumper off, because it make rear look lighter.

Some inside shots then.

Engine room got almost everything scratchbuild.
-Intercooler
-Turbo
-Intake manifold
-Pipes
-Wastegate
-Bybass valve
-Fuse box added

Interior has half gage, racing seat, belts, fuel lines and e-brake added. This pic is missing dashboard though.

Here is a better pic of that gage. It also features little camera and its main unit.

Here is a little diodrama with my lifted Silverado and scratchbuild trailer.

Ask questions because it is 0.30 am here while im posting, so I might forget something to tell.
Feedback is nice to have also.

awesome, i love the old datsuns, specially the 240z, Z in general.

And took you a while to finish, and came out great, but the paint is something you might check.

You forgot to mention the custom crossflow cylinder head.

As good as the detail is, that you put the exhaust on the wrong side of the engine for an L series Datsun engine really detracts from the quality of the build. Also, the window rubbers look very blobby and untidy. You'd have been much better off using Bare Metal Foil's "black chrome" foil.

Were on the same track. Saves some weight also.

Might call that paint weathered. Don't take this too serius.

I guessed that you would remember it. It is really rare custom crossflow cylinder head. Really .

Those window rubbers were pain in the ass to paint. I cant get access to black bmf, and it seems that it would not fit right. Really kinky rubbers on that mold.

And for the exhaust. That side got more room for the fartcan. What difference it really makes. Side changes with new cylinder head. And to make you more angry, my next 510 has two exhausts.

For some reason body is not perfectly attached to chassis. You can see it in engine room. Maybe I made something wrong.

I am pleased with the outcome, mainly because this is first time me doing so major mods to engine room.
