Just got Transmission Flushed

I just got my Transmission flushed today on my 00 GTP. Has 77,700 miles on it. Shifts awfully nice. Im glad I did it just in time.

Cool! Keep us informed, if you don't mind. There have been a few people around here who had trouble when they had their transmission flushed.

Re: Just got Transmission Flushed

I think everyone's experience is going to be different with trans flushing. Depends on how hard the car was driven and how well the tranny was maintained. General rule of thumb is don't flush over 60k. I've never flushed any of my vehicles--fluid and filter only.

A transmision flush is a big no no.Where does the dirt go during a transmission flush? In the valve body,it gets into the crevices and causes problems even properly done.My father knows a guy that owns his own transmission shop, loves geting them in bacause the transmission was flushed and has to clean out the valve body out.
