friends electrical problem

when i press the brakes all of my dash lights come on but when i release them all of them go out. my head lights dont come on but my brights do work. also my left blinker goes wild when i turn it on but my right one works fine.

sounds like wrong bulb installed in left rear lamp, check to see if someone installed a single pole bulb in left taillamp by mistake this will cause the park and dash lamps to come on with the brakes, and cause the left turn signal to blink fast, also could be a socket problem.
