FINISHED -Tamiya SLK (Lots of Pics 56k beware)

Here's my first car model that I finished using an "air-brush", coz I usually use it for my Gundam kits before. Hope you like it.

Yep, it's from the DTM Promarkt kit by tamiya Sorry for the bad photo's I'm just using my Nokia phone to take the pictures. But I plan to get a good Digicam in the future.

Errrrr.... ah, it's an old model (3650), I just set the camera resolution to high. Your phone is much better.

It looks well built, but the wheels are way, way too big for this car!

I agree, the wheels sticking out past the wheel openings is very unrealistic and the diameter is too much for this car.

Otherwise it looks very nice.

I agree to your opinion, need to get one of those VIP Rims from Fujimi.

Superb SLK! The wheels are ok, maybe lower the stance just a bit. Maybe that's why the wheels look too big for some. Koo you make Gundams? Can you post pics? I haven't had the chance to build mine, cause there's too many pieces(800) ... guess been a lil lazy! hah!

Re: FINISHED -Tamiya SLK (Lots of Pics 56k beware)

Great model! I am always surprised that Tamiya and Fujimi molded the SLK in such a way that you can''t mount up the 18 and 19 inch wheels without making them look too big and sticking out.

I have an SLK and I run 18X10 in the back and 18X9.5 in front without a problem.. I could fit 19s easily in there without any issues... so this might be a case of Tamiya and Fujimi just getting proportions wrong.
