it would have to be custom work

consisting of finding the properly sized throttle bodies, and then taking a stock maniolf, cutting it, and welding in the throttle bodies at the proper place for your wanted power and delivery

Re: New Thread now guys..."individual throttle bodies" or "dueces"

Theres a guy on Zilvia that used 47m.m. bodies from a bike. it looked like a half assed attempt but the tread should help you get some Ideas.

Id find it and link it but Im lazy. if you hurry it should still be on the first page of the tech section.

I dunno I don't think a bike throttle bodies would work, they won't flow enough air....

1300cc max vs 2400cc... same amount of cylinders and throttle bodies won't pull in enough air....

you would have to buy some custom throttle bodies or find a GTiR manifold and hack it up

Apparently the computer doesn't like it either.

At least on SR20s...

some sr20's have them stock... it depends on how your going to make it, if your going to attach them to an intake manifold and use a single cone type filter then you wouldn't have to mess with your computer that much, also if you used them in a turbo application like the RB26dett or sr20det in the GTiR. If you were using them naturally aspirated and running velocity stacks you would need some sort of engine computer and a lot of tuning.

if I ever get a 240sx that keeps a 4 cylinder I will make it my goal to fab up some ITB's on a ka24de.

Only the GTiR SR20s use ITBs. I suppose you could try and use the Pulsar computer, but I've never seen anyone do that. I think one of the D1GP guys in Japan has an ITB setup in his Silvia but I don't know what sort of computer etc he's running.

when i had my car dynoed i saw a B16A with 4 throttle bodies from hyabusas. he also has a hondata chip to tune the fuel.

that setup will not work with our cars since there is no way of really metering how much air is flowing into the engine without any sort of sensors hooked up to the intake side. the only way will be to use a standalone fuel management unit and tune each cylinder to that one setting.
