'01 SSEI Rear suspension jacked up
I have a 2001 SSEI that just recently started maxxing the air in the rear air shocks causing the rear ride height to be way to high and obviously causing serious handling problems and a rough ride. I have taken the hoses off the shocks to release the air and after starting the air pump activates and pumps them back up. Problem seemed to start after a low tire condition on right rear. Thoughts on what may be the problem or where to start looking would be greatly appreciated.

Not familiar with '01 but most have the leveling sensor connected to the right rear lower control arm. Maybe something got knocked loose or bent during the tire change or before if it shreded rubber. Look for small rod going from arm up to switch laver on body.

Thanks. Checked that out and everything is attached and the lever is working up and down.

Re: '01 SSEI Rear suspension jacked up
As the lever moves up and down does the compressor turn on when up and vent when down? There may be some delay to filter out normal suspension travel.

Re: '01 SSEI Rear suspension jacked up
Just found out that if the LLC switch wire is unplugged, or the wire is broke somewhere, the compressor defaults to on. Does your compressor run all the time? May be worth a look. (Info from a different forum, no guarantee of accuracy.)
