Greddy does not include an intercooler or BOV in their kits. They sell 2 types of intercoolers (R-spec cores or V-spec cores depending on the car, Hondas/Acuras have the choice of a 24 or 31 V-spec core) and 2 types of BOV's (type-S & type-R), but all these cost extra on top of the initial kit price.

In regards to the turbo kits in the link above, the "superior" turbo kit does not include the intercooler or BOV, same as the basic Greddy kit. You'd have to buy those extra. The "Extreme" kit does include these. Also, like most turbo kits, it uses a Fuel Pressure Regulator and a map sensor by-pass of sorts. If yyou have the $$, Hondata w/ boost option and some new injectors is a better way to go in terms of fuel managment, but this would cost extra no matter the kit you buy. Almost it's a better fuel managment method, no kit's that I know of use a Hondata, almost all use an Fuel Pressure Regulator and some sort of map-by-pass or upgraded map sensor instead.

As for XS Engineering, they are a very reputable turbo company and makes good stuff. If you buy XS-Engineering, I wouldn't by off of ebay or anything. If you want to buy a pre-made turbo kit, buy one from a reputable distributor of the manufacturers products and not from a place like ebay.

Edelbrock makes a fairly good kit for the D16Y8 as far as turbo kits go. Then there's the fact that it's dyno proven to give you 175whp (which is around 200 hp @ the crank). It's price may seem spendy to some, but it in comparison to some of the other kits listed it comes with mostly everything. As far as kits go, it's one of the more complete kits on the market, and from areputable company at that.

Re: greddy turbo kits

For the price of an edelbrock kit you can put one together yourself without having to use 4 more injectors with a bigger or better turbo, all the guages you'll need to monitor your car, boost controller and turbo timer, external wastegate, and Hondata instead of using their shitty additional injectors method of adding more fuel.

GScivic7 is correct, it will be much cheaper to build your own turbo kit than to buy a pre-made one. As far a pre-mades go the Edelbrock kit isn't bad. However, a decent homemade turbo can be done for much less cost, and in the end you'll be a lot better off running a hondata versus a fuel pressure regulator like most pre-made kits use. Here are a few good links if you want to look into homemade kits more.
