96 monte carlo idles like crazy
My 1996 monte carlo has about 125,000 miles. When the car sits overnight in the cold it idles extremely high when it is started. This morning it idled at 4000 rpms. the only way to stop it is to turn the key off and start the car again. What can I do about this? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

I would lean towards a sensor starting to go, possibly the IAC or the TPS..... i have no clue on how to check these though sorry.
