power loss?

now i drive my car and i feel like it only has about 100 HP when i drive near a building i hear air from under the car. the car has a borla exhaust would that have any thing to do with it.

Is the line running from the cat to the intake bolted up or does it have any holes, is the gasket between the cat and the exhuast manifold blown or do you have any bolts lose?

something either isn't connected or you have a hole... this happened to me 2 weeks ago, but mine was on the stock exhaust so it got much louder than usual so it was obvious... back her up onto some ramps and look up under there and if you find nothing take it to a muffler shop, most will look at it for free

i got my power back but i had to install the stock exhaust. the borla exhaust did not have a plug for the line running from the cat to the intake. what can i do to to install the borla and dont loose power? and emissions is not a prob for me

Dont install a cat, remove airpump/ACV.

You wont be beating Vettes and Vipers, but you will get some definate power gains.
