decided i need a new pc, and im going to make it this time around, need some help....

im deciding to make a new pc for myself, and i remeber seeing this really cool pc that somebody made out of a 1/18th scale remote control car body, it was a beetle body, and the disk drive was attached to the front bumper and the bumper was detached so when it opened the bumper popped out with it, and it had all the ports in the back bumper, i dont know if anyone knows of this pc, but i saw it in a forum or something, if you know where it is can you please post a link, well anyway i wanna do aobut the same thing, but with a 1/10th scale nissan 180sx body, it'll be a lot bigger so the pc will be easier to do, and for the bottom the car will have a metal cutout that is in the shape of the bottom of the car, and then wheels will be put on it, but i wanna know if anyone thinks im going to be able to do this, and what parts shjould i get for the pc, like motherboards, and video cards, and all that, i basically want the pc for gaming, and thats about it, just a small pc perfect for lan parties, for those that know the size of the rc car bodies, its about 12 inches long, and 6 inches wide, and about 5-6 ionches off the ground.

Yea, I hope you know what your doing. Custom boxes are extremely hard to do unless your just painting it or something. That car took some serious fabrication and experience. Good luck if you do it though. Keep us informed on how its comin.

I would suggest Apple and Macintosh parts. Have you ever seen how small the parts for their computers are? If you find the proper size car body, and all the Apple computer parts you want and need like a processor, expansion ports, multimedia ports, hard drives, removable disk drives, coolant fan etc, then just assemble it. I mean, if you look at the new iMac G5, and those PowerBooks, they're alot smaller than your everyday Windows PC http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPL...AppleStore.woa. The only problem with Apple parts is the price. But if you wish to Windows, which is also possible, you can get the parts off a Dell 4600C Thinline Dimension, which is the one I have. But the newer version is the 4700C. It's a thin tower PC, and is only about 3.5 inches wide. http://www1.us.dell.com/content/prod...n&s=dhs&~ck=mn

I order almost everything from newegg.com. I get everything in 2-3 days with regular shpping, have almost anything at real good price. Good luck with the new computer.
