need help 83 ford mustang 4 banger to 351

I am going to swap motors in my stang. I was wondering if some one had info on how to swap a motors. Im taking a 4 banger out and putting a 351c from a 79 ford F-250. Do I need to fab my own mounts or can I by them from a parts store. And to I need a new drive line to fit the V-8.
any info would be grate.....thx

1) I think you mean 200 I6.
2) The 351c was not made in 1979.
3) ...drive line?

4 banger 83 mustang to a 351c

first off do you have a 351c or a 351m they only made the original cleveland up through 1974 and if you have the 74 or earlier you can use stock 5.0 mounts. but if you have a 351m they use the same mounts as a 400 or 460. i have a 89 stang with a 1970 351c and am using 5.0 mounts but have welded plates on the sides to make them solid because the torque was ripping them apart and also you may have to put a spacer under them depending on oil pan used. if you are using a t5,c4 or a aod the driveshaft from your car will fit perfect but i would trade that 7.5 rear for a 8.8 even if you are running a stock cleveland.any other questions just ask i have done this many times.

Thx if I have more ? I'll ask. I know that its a 351C But not the year. I will go ask the person I got it from. I have one more ?. What would you recomend for Suspention.
