88 Cherokee Headliner
I'm going to have to replace the headliner in my Cherokee. (Old one was just ripped out by a previous owner) Is their an aftermaket kit available out there that anyone can recommend?
While we're at it, the driver's seat needs to be repaired/replaced. (It leans too far back in the upright position, even with the gimble adjustment rolled all the way forward) Again, any recommended aftermarket sources? Yeah, I know. I could do a web search and get 50 websites that sell stuff. What I'm looking for are goods used by members here, the pros, the cons, goods, bads and uglys... Stephen |

I just went to AutoZone and got a headliner glue in spray can. Went to Wal-Mart and got a fabric (almost any fabric will work!) It took me about 20 min. to take the headliner form out and rip off old glue from headliner form. Then spray the can evenly on half of headliner form. Then cover with fabric. Do another half and wait for ~30 min. You are all set. It's easy!! Make sure you put enough glues!

If you have an upholstry shop in town many of them will recover your existing form for a very minimal charge if you will just take it out and bring it to them. This way you get a proffesional job for a fraction of the cost.
