Unhappy Location of the Turn Signal Flasher

I've got a 1996 Chevy S10 Blazer, 4 Wheel Drive. I need to locate the Turn Signal Flasher. The Local Dealer was no help and did not seem to know this model that well. Any help would be great. [email protected]

Re: Location of the Turn Signal Flasher

If it is anything like my 96 s-10 pickup, it is located approx. below your radio. You will have to remove 2-3 lower dash panels to get to the flasher.

my flasher went out on my 96 Blazer, It was by the radio, my metled into the socket. It is hard to get to because of all the wiring, I seen where it was at, and just paid someone to do it.

on the 98 blazer they moved it to behind the glove box, you can just open the box, release the catch to let it rotate all the way out and you are looking right at it.

It should be under your radio; replaced mine with one to accomidate a trailer. While you did have to take a few dash panles off it was not that hard with the right sockits and didn't take too long. Unless you have the money to spend just sit down this saturday with a beer and do it yourself.
