82' Celica 22R
Hm...Where to begin. Just recently became the owner of an 82' Celica and it needs some work. Everything is original. I was wondering on some performance mods. Maybe a site w/ A.M. products for the Celica. Within the next week I plan on pulling and rebuilding the engine completely. In the process I want to increase horsepower. It has a 22R motor 2.4L 4-cylinder. The specs say 94-101 hp, lol, I'll be lucky to get that right now. It needs lots of work and I don't know much about the engine right now. Know some specs...but need more for mods. Would appreciate any experiences or info...I read putting a 20R head on the 22R block would do great for a 4-cylinder...Thanks....

How can you help me...I would love the help, I plan on doing a lot of work on my own. If there is any machining that needs to be done it will have to sent out, otherwise, I can do everything else. Please tell me what you know. Thanks ALOT.

Re: 82' Celica 22R
if you're looking for some mods for your motor LCEngineering.com has a lot, although it's not cheep. UNless you don't want to deal with the time and just buy their crate motor.
